 What is the Horseback Messenger? It is an idea for a story that I had in 2007. Since then I have been trying to put that story into a coherent novel. The first draft is complete and I am approaching Literary Agents in an effort to get some help to bring the novel to the public. In this website you will find further information, the first chapter is available to read online and there is a section about me, the author, and a means to get in touch. Thank you for visiting the site. Brief Synopsis 16th Century England,
a country at peace with a King many years in power but that peace is about to be shattered. Conspirators plot the Kings downfall,
friends are soon turned to enemies and war begins to be a certainty. Against this backdrop the Horseback Messenger is on the
brink of death, a drunk who is succumbing to his personal demons. But there is a good heart within him and when he is alerted
to the conspiracy he grasps the opportunity to pull himself back from the brink with both hands. The Horseback Messenger rides
to avert a conflict and to save his soul. |
